Like at any modern zoo, work at Zoo Berlin is never really done. We are constantly trying to improve the zoo to make it a better place and more beautiful for animals and visitors alike. That is why you may come across construction work during your visit. Below you can find information on current construction projects and other restrictions.
Construction works at the Aquarium
Over the past few months, an extensive modernization took place at Aquarium Berlin. Now, all three floors of the building are open to visitors again. However, some finishing work is still underway. As a result, individual tanks and habitats may occasionally be inaccessible.
