Based on the Berlin curriculum, the tours and projects cleverly combine extraordinary animal experiences with natural science teaching.

Who eats what?
Every day at Zoo Berlin, around 20,000 animals have to be fed. But who eats what? What are their favourite meals? And who has the biggest appetite?

Little zookeepers
There is always plenty of work to be done at the zoo. But what exactly does an animal keeper do? Get a behind-the-scenes glimpse into daily life at the zoo. You might even get to help out!

The chosen one
Is your group is named after a certain animal? Do you have an animal mascot? Or maybe you want to show the children a particular species? This tour focuses on whichever animal you want to see.

Little conservationists
More and more animals are losing their natural habitats, which means they could become extinct. How can we stop that? On this tour, you embark on a species conservation expedition and learn about what each and every one of us can do to help animals in the wild.
