There may be no public feedings or training sessions at Zoo Berlin at the moment, but that doesn’t mean our animal residents are getting bored. Sea lions Sandra and Gorbi, for example, are still being kept busy by our keepers, who make their flippered friends work hard for their fish. The training session is mostly for the animals’ physical wellbeing, but it’s also a lot of fun. Our female California sea lion Sandra is particularly inquisitive and loves learning new tricks, so here we witness only some of her skills. Take a look!
