Why howler?

Newborns now and then lose the contact to the mother - often even for a short time only. If so, they scream heartbreakingly, this has given them this name.

Baby seals can swim since birth, are born already with the sleek sealskin of adult animals and are independent after approximately 2 months.

    Fish is their vegetables: Flat fish, salmon, cod, sardines, herring … young seals also eat crabs, mussels and squid.
