We’ll start with the parents Sango and Bibi, who can be seen in the video with their adorable little daughter Tilla.

Sango – The protector, as the silverback, Sango (born August 12, 2004 in the Romagne Zoo) always has the entire group in view. He regularly shows off his power, but at the same time is also gentle and very caring.

Bibi – The serene, (born February 25, 1997 at Apenheul Zoo) lovingly takes care of her offspring Tilla. She is mostly relaxed, but when her fellows crank it up, she joins to be there loudly.

Tilla – The fearless, (born February 15, 2021 at Zoo Berlin) likes to explore her habitat and keeps her mother Bibi busy. But if something seems strange to Tilla, she quickly disappears into mum's arms.

Fatou, the record-holder, was freed from illegal captivity in 1957 and has lived at the Zoo Berlin since 11 May 1959. Due to her old age, Fatou had no more standing within the group, so she moved in with gorilla lady Gigi. Her friend died in 2010 and now Fatou lives in the enclosure on her own. Fatou is the oldest gorilla in Europe.

Mpenzi – The experienced, Gorilla lady Mpenzi (born July 9, 1985 at Zoo Berlin) prefers to stay in the background and let the others go first. Only when training with the zookeepers is she almost always first in line.

Djambala – the self-confident, (born July 27, 2001 at Zoo Berlin) is not particularly big, but quite cheeky. When hunger occurs, she sometimes even steals tasty snacks from the other Gorillas.
