Two Siberian tigers have moved here from Tierpark Berlin and are the first new residents in our Predator House. They are already on view to visitors in their outdoor habitat. The Siberian tiger, also known as the Amur tiger, is the largest living species of cat in the world. These animals inhabit the taiga forests in the far southeast of Russia, where their range extends into northeast China and even up to the North Korean border. The IUCN Red List classifies Siberian tigers as “Endangered”.
