Unusual flatshare in the Primate House

Recently, the black-rumped agouti family became part of a diverse residential community in the Primate House.

The shared habitat was already home to the two-toed sloths Charlie and Fidelma, Goeldi’s marmoset Gonzales, and white-headed marmoset Jose. Much like in many Berlin flatshares, the primates look upon one another more as housemates than as close friends. But they do share a love of food – especially fresh, juicy fruits.
