Thrills and chills for the meerkats

The animal keepers surprised our meerkat family with some tasty and refreshing frozen treats.

The little omnivores were kept busy digging out the tasty pieces of fruit and meat. Afterwards, they retired to the shade for a little nap.

Here are a few tips to ensure you are well prepared for your visit to Zoo Berlin this weekend:

Buy your tickets online in advance and skip the queues at the ticket booths. You don’t have to print out your online tickets; you can simply present them on your phone.
Almost all regular daily tickets are available online, including concession-rate tickets.
The time slot refers only to the admission time; there is no actual limit on how long you can stay.
