According to scientific estimates, 5 to 80 million animal species live on Earth, but only around one million are known to date. However, around 150 species are now becoming extinct every day.

The current rapid increase in biodiversity loss is clearly due to us: habitat fragmentation, overfishing of the oceans, our insatiable hunger for resources, climate change, invasive species and much more. Without biodiversity, we cannot survive in the long term. So let's protect biodiversity - for out future!
