Update on the sitatunga baby

Our latest sitatunga offspring was born at the end of July. The little one still has a fairly light-coloured coat, but that will change over time.

Adult sitatunga males and females are easy to tell apart by their colouring. While females are more of a chestnut or russet brown, the coat of sexually mature males is dark brown to grey.
