Our young sitatunga is becoming increasingly bold.

The male calf, who was born on 21 July, is gradually getting to know his home – always under the watchful eye of mum and dad.

Did you know that sitatungas have the perfect footwear? The hooves of these even-toed ungulates are particularly elongated and splayed. This distributes their weight and prevents them from sinking into swampy ground.
