After a long period without any lions, Zoo Berlin is excited to welcome these regal animals back to its renovated Predator House. The three siblings Elsa, Hanna and Mateo (born on 25 December 2019) have now left their birthplace of Zoo Leipzig to go their own way in the world. Initially, the young lions will spend some time getting acclimatised to their new home indoors. Then, from around the end of November, they should be on view to visitors as they explore their extensive outdoor habitat.
