Reason enough to give a little extra attention to Zoo Berlin’s long-necked residents Max and Mugambi.

Our white-tailed deer have welcomed several fawns in the past three weeks.

Little Ole was born on 19 May – adding a second male to the herd in addition to dad Olaf. Zoo Berlin is now home to six of these reindeer.

Our Asian elephants got a pleasant surprise yesterday when they discovered a massive new structure in their habitat.
