Little Ole was born on 19 May – adding a second male to the herd in addition to dad Olaf. Zoo Berlin is now home to six of these reindeer.

Did you know? The European forest reindeer is the only deer species where both sexes develop antlers. The males’ antlers are usually larger and have more tines than those of the females.
