The Zoo Berlin is closed

A bird at Zoo Berlin tested positive for bird flu. Therefore, the Zoo remains closed to guests as a precaution. The Aquarium Berlin as well as the Tierpark Berlin are still open as usual.

    Zoo Berlin has faced tremendous challenges over the past couple of years with the Covid-19 pandemic, the energy crisis, and the rising cost of animal feed. Now another problem has arisen: closure due to a case of bird flu. The Zoo team is working tirelessly to keep the situation under control and ensure all the animals remain well looked after.
