The little joey is peeking out of its cosy hiding place more and more frequently these days. Pay a visit to the Zoo’s extension area and you might get to see the adorable little face peeping from the pouch.

Did you know that red kangaroos are around the size of a jelly bean at birth and spend the next eight months growing and developing inside their mother’s pouch?
