The zoo is in full-blown panda fever and plenty of visitors and zoo fans are just as excited as we are. The animals are only pandas in Germany, making them a real Zoo Berlin highlight. Pandas are generally easy-going creatures who spend almost all their time eating or snoozing. But sometimes they can be quite playful and silly – as this footage shows!

Little bamboo guzzlers

Bamboo truly is a bear necessity for our pandas. Twins Pit and Paule are now consuming ten to 15 kilograms of the plant each day.
