A protective cover for our paths

The construction vehicles that will soon start rolling in will put pressure of up to 40 tonnes on our stone pathways, which can only support up to 7.5 tonnes.

Today, therefore, we laid a special fabric over the stones that will then be covered with a roughly 20 cm layer of tarmac. Together, these will enable the paths to withstand the weight of the construction vehicles over the coming months. Once the construction period is over, the tarmac layer can simply be scraped off with an excavator and our paths will look just as they did before.
