Get married at Zoo Berlin!

Do you want to get married in a completely out-of-the-ordinary place and perhaps even celebrate your wedding on a grand scale? Then have your civil marriage solemnised at Zoo Berlin! Our unusual environment will make your wedding a memorable experience for you and your guests. For wedding ceremonies we recommend the Hippopotamus House and the free flight hall at the Birdhouse.

The Hippopotamus House is one of the world’s most modern animal houses. Its roof consists of an enormous glass dome through which you can see the sky. The hippopotamuses, submerged in clear water and separated from the visitors only by thick glass panes, can be observed to float gently through their element.

The free flight hall provides an exotic, tropical ambience throughout the year. Birdsong in luxuriant vegetation, waterfalls, and a large number of colourful bird species create an impressive atmosphere.

When?

Marriage ceremonies can be held at the zoo every day of the year except Sundays.

Costs

• €260.00 room rent – the room is locked to the public for one hour
• Reduced admission for the guests: adults €10.00 + children €5.00
